Money and Manifestation : Follow Up

After posting this, Noreen Mejias – a contributing author to Sekhmet Rising: The Restlessness of Women’s Genius and accomplished Financial Advisor – shared her thoughts on the Women Gathering Google Group .

Take the time to read Noreen’s unique and profoundly enlivened way of engaging with others!  As you scroll down to the bottom of the posting, what emerges is access to an attachment that offers wise counsel in these turbulent economic times.   In what lies ahead, awakened consciousness and enlivened presence will be essential to creating the world of our own design.

Enjoy!

Money and Manifestation

A small group of women gathering, talking… about the impact and meaning of ‘money’ in their lives.  The language of ‘currency’, ‘money’, ‘wealth’ and ‘abundance’ came into my awareness as I was getting ready to head out to this gathering.  For me, this is another layer in the Currency of Consciousness conversation.

It was indeed, a great conversation even if it was, from time to time, somewhat of a surreal experience for me.  Not that it’s a new experience (it’s been happening since I was 6), I nonetheless found myself wondering:  do I live on another planet?  What was most meaningful to me about the conversation was the clarity that it’s impending presence offered me at 3:00 a.m. on the day we were to gather.  In the blink of an eye, ‘it’ all fell into place… for me.

From a Logical Levels perspective : (and remember, these are all nominalization…)

‘Currency’ (the visible, collectively-agreed-upon medium of exchange to obtain what we desire) exists at the levels of Environment (physical matter) and Behviour (what we do to get what we want).

‘Money’ sits at the level of Capability (Strategy) in recognition of a collective agreement that says:  If I have money, I have power (ie. the ability to carve out my life as I see fit); and if I have no money, I have none of this power.

‘Wealth’ sits at the level of Beliefs/Values/Attitudes in recognition that the notion of ‘wealth’ is a state of mind; and the relationship to money (i.e. if we have money, we have wealth; if we have no money, we have no wealth) hence the tremendous drive to have money!

I then realized that ‘abundance’ is a notion that sits above the Choice point… a notion that can easily exist in the absence of the existence of ‘wealth’ associated to ‘money’.  I can still live from ‘abundance’ whether I have ‘money’ or not.

The idea of the Currency of Consciousness is that in a new paradigm (as an expression of an emerging species) the collectively-agreed-upon medium of exchange to obtain what we desire shifts to that of consciousness.  Manifestation is a function of consciousness.  If I can manifest, why would I need money?

The conversation also spoke to the current economic ‘melt down’, globally.  To me, it feels less like a melt down and much more like we’re pushing the reset button on how we live.  When we reset, do we (again!) Oreset to the same levels of thinking that existed before this point?  Or do we raise our thinking to higher orders of thought and reset by exploring and discovering a more potent ’start point’ for the next layer of expression of what we are and who we’re becoming?

If we are indeed Quantum Biological Humans™ (and I believe we are), then we are each capable of manifesting what we desire from clarity of and focus of intention… not like a tool or resource, but a state of being.

The Currency of Consciousness is an invitation to reconsider how we create our lives, our experiences and our (individual and collective) worlds.  Money will come and go.  Money can be given to you or taken away.  However, consciousness IS the truth of your being and only leaves when you say so.

Polar ice cap: just how fast is it melting?

I got an email today from a family friend who has recently been posted to the Far North.  Lou left Ottawa in late ‘08 and is now living  and working amongst those in the community of Qikiqtarjuaq (spell that without looking!).  Those of us who are in Lou’s life have the great fun of getting her newsy (and sometimes very funny!) updates and pics on life in the far north.  interactiveglobepicture

Part of Lou’s latest news is the impending arrival of a team of explorers, heading to the Polar Ice Cap, to determine accurate scientific data on the melting of the ice in that area.  Scheduled to begin in February, the expedition is being led by highly experienced polar explorer Pen Hadow, accompanied by Ann Daniels (one of the world’s foremost female polar explorers) and Martin Hartley.

These are pivotal times.  We encourage you to visit the website for the Catlin Arctic Survey. There, you’ll find information on the expedition, the people and its intention.  This may well prove to be one of the most life-altering journeys of our time!

Also, be sure to check out the new video clip on ChoicePoints on this expedition.  Hold its intention in your awareness and be sure to track for its outcomes.  The implications of the melting of the Arctic Ocean’s sea ice – and the rate at which it is occurring – can profoundly change our world.  In that, none of us will be untouched.

The currency of consciousness

Day 2 of a New Year.  It feels fresh and ready, like the proverbial blank slate waiting for me to place my mark in the creation of my own life.

I’m aware of many things.  Some have to do with what has been and some have to do with what I believe will be.  And, in a holographic universe, it will be because I say so.  Not like imposing force of will and making something happen, but because the simple act of its consideration makes it so.  The magic of what we call ‘life’ is to create and manifest.  I am always creating and manifesting.  My ‘reality’ is a by-product of this process.  Perhaps the greater consideration is:  am I awake when I’m creating and manifesting?

I’ll not bother having my own voice be added to the existing gazillion voices already speaking to the future and what we might expect.  My voice will vibrate differently in that it offers an invitation to stop… take a breath… and own the force that comes into awareness as it courses through the tissue.   It is  owning that force that matters because that force IS what is carving out lives.

I am always manifesting.  I AM is the essence of  all life, in flow.  I AM is never NOT manifesting, even when I forget and think that it all has nothing to do with me; that it is happening ‘out there’ and I am victim to it.

My life… all life… is evidence of manifesting in flow.  That I do not manifest what I want is not evidence of a failure in the process – it is evidence of my capacity for distraction.   Just because I lose focus and turn my head to the left does not mean that the Life Flow pauses while I remind myself of what I’m doing.  It  just flows – and I get what I intended with some interesting detours!

In the next few years, our willingness and ability… our capacity… to manifest mindfully will be offered a massive playground on which to unfold.  Like we’ve witnessed what has been (wars, collapse, rage, scarcity, etc.) we can also bear witness to our own potential to redefine… redesign… and recreate.

Like we have come to believe that the most powerful currency in our reality is what we call ‘money’, we are about to be offered the opportunity to consider that a far more potent currency is the currency of consciousness.  Am I awake?  Am I asleep?  Or worse, am I in a coma?  Is my consciousness one that invites mindfulness, causing intention to lead?  Or is my consciousness one that invites mindlesness, habituation and repetition, leaving only predefined options from which to select?

What will determine the quality of my life will be my capacity to manifest.  (Money becomes irrelevant when I can manifest.  Why would I require money when all that I desire simply presents? )  Manifestation is a dance of consciousness in flow with awakened presence as its conduit.  Manifestation is not a dance of the intellect but one of the body in tune with and connected to an urge… an impulse… to choose in an instant.  ”Turn left”… without hesitation or the monkey mind internal squabbling that so often accompanies the impulse.  ”Stop”… without the second-guessing and search for ‘evidence’ that we think is essential to giving us a good reason to stop.  ”Silence”… without feeling the pressure inside ourselves of the need to ‘make sense’ of something; or ‘figure out’ why or when or how we should/shouldn’t just be still.

In this and future worlds, the currency of consciousness and our ability to engage rather than reflect; to live rather than talk about life; and to ‘be’ rather than ‘do’ will determine the quality of our lives.   Trusting the body to lead demands that we trust the body and surrender the intellect to it.  Trusting the body requires that we allow all that it currently offers to be in flow, knowing without question that it is as it should be.   To know this is to acknowledge that what we are (Quantum Biological Humans) is a far cry from what we’ve been taught to believe we are.  We are not the body (the instrument) – we are the Signal (Life Force) that flows through it.  Without that Signal, manifestation cannot occur.

The currency of consciousness… the degree to which the Signal is in flow and we allow it to be so… will design and define how we live.  And that’s something you can’t buy with money.
