Reclaiming My Self: My first Radio Show!

Thursday was the launch of my new radio show with Contact Talk Radio – and what fun that was!  In the good company of Lisa, Amy and Sheila (all WEL-Systems Institute Affiliates), we began what will be (at least!) a 6 month journey of exploring how a WEL-Systems® approach can make a difference in women’s lives and accelerate evolution.

Lots to pay attention to… lots of detail that I usually am oblivious to.  Simple things, like: what time is it?  How long has it been from there to here?  Whose turn is it?  What about commercials?  For those of you who know me well, you already know that details are not what I do best.   But I can tell from today that it won’t take long before I get the hang of this! It was fun, fast-paced and set the frame for future experiences that will delve deeper and go further… all of which work for me!

I’ve decided to include below some of the highlights from the front-end opening context that speaks to what the show is about.  This is a deeply meaningful experience for me, offering up the opportunity to reach women that I may well never have been able to touch without the magic of this technology.  For that, I am very grateful.

Connection is the key!  Connection to ideas and notions and intentions; and connections to the powerful truth that lies within each of us, just waiting to be given permission to lead us into the destiny of our choosing.

Connection to people… the ones we love and care about; the ones we give birth to and share our bed with; and the ones we spend our days with at work and in our communities.

But the most fundamental connection is that Connection to SElf!  We can’t connect to anyone else until we’re connected to ourselves. Without that, it’s a ‘Lights on, nobody home’ kind of moment…where we’re going through the paces but we have a sense of always just missing the mark.  Know what I mean?  RECLAIMING YOUR SELF is all about taking back that essential connection to the unique expression of ‘BEING’ that you are… and today, we begin that journey together.

In the coming weeks we’ll be exploring what that connection is all about; and how to create THAT connection with ourselves and each other.

Some of these conversations will inspire and motivate you!   Some of them will cause you to pause… and wonder… and contemplate what else awaits you in your life!  And still others may irritate you… and annoy you… and in that, become the greatest call to your own accelerated evolution!  What you hear and how you choose to engage – or not! – will always be your good choice… sourced by your own internal truth.

My producer, Rebecca, was wonderfully reassuring, leaving me to relax into trusting that I was in her very good hands.  And so it was.  I appreciate her being there and look forward to working with her in the months to come.

As the weeks go by, we’ll explore how a WEL-Systems approach is different because it’s a paradigm shift  and not just new technique in an existing paradigm.  Through conversations that touch on the things we all know only too well – family, parenting, infertility, depression, bankruptcy, health and wellness, etc. – we’ll discover different dimensions and aspects of WEL-Systems so that they can become accessible to those who are seeking… sometimes exhausted from having been doing so for so long and never finding.

The intention I carry is to create this radio show as an Open Forum experience.  Imagine!  A global Open Forum experience inviting and allowing whatever comes to pass… and knowing that through it all, we are nonetheless on a journey back to our individual Self.  Not a forum for debate, it’s a public place to draw into expression what we have for far too long held private and secret.  Over the years, I’ve discovered that there are very few thoughts that are not in the minds of the many, when they are awakened in the minds of the few.

Radio works for me!  Voice is so much faster and more penetrating than print.  And given all that is going on in the world around us,  I believe we have to get on with it – and that women are the key.

2010 is going to be a magnificent year!
